Invicta FC 27 results – Sarah Kaufman vs. Pannie Kianzad
Invicta Fighting Championships holds Invicta FC 27 tonight from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri. The January 13 event will stream exclusively on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 8 pm EST.
Yesterday, Pannie Kianzad who fought in the evening’s main event against UFC Veteran Sarah Kaufman, missed weight and was fined 20 percent of her purse. The fight went on as scheduled. Unfortunately for Kianzad, the extra poundage did not make a difference as she lost a unanimous decision to the returning Kaufman.
Also, Tiffany Master missed weight for her strawweight bout against Mallory Martin. She too received a fine.
Vanessa Porto could have earned another title shot as she earned a first round win over Mariana Morais.
Felicia Spencer remained undefeated and moved to 4-0 as she earned a unanimous decision win over Akeela Al-Hameed.
Mallory Martin put on a beautiful display of ground and pound as she defeated Tiffany Masters in the second round by way of technical knockout.
Loma Lookboonmee landed two illegal knees in her atomweight fight with Mellissa Wang. Neither illegal strike did any damage but illegal nonetheless and a point was taken on the second infraction.
Helen Peralta had a successful pro debut as she TKO’d Jade Ripley in the very first round to open up the Invicta FC 27 fight card.
