Tonight UFC star Paige VanZant makes her flyweight debut inside the octagon when she meets Jessica-Rose Clark at 125-pounds.
TMZ caught up with the popular mixed martial artist to ask if she had similar plans to former champion Ronda Rousey by transitioning into the world of professional wrestling.
“Yes, that is definitely something that I am interested in,” VanZant said.
“I love the WWE. I think that I would for sure be a good WWE Diva, for sure. We’ll see. If the opportunity comes I will definitely go for it. But if the knock comes on my door, I’m definitely taking it. I love the WWE. I love it. I have the personality for it.”
When then asked about the possibility of actually meeting Rousey in the squared-circle, VanZant responded, “That would be interesting. I think that they might have to allow real shots.”
Her UFC Fight Night 124 bout takes place tonight, January 14, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.Follow MyMMANews.com on Social Media
