Jake Paul eyes boxing match against Dillon Danis

YouTube star Jake Paul would like to return to the boxing ring and he has an opponent in mind.

Paul told TMZ Sports that he would like to step inside the ring with Bellator welterweight Dillon Danis, who is famously known for training with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.



Prior to turning his attention to Danis, Paul was looking to avenge his brother Logan’s controversial loss to KSI as soon as coronavirus pandemic is over. KSI’s team denied the challenge as KSI is currently focusing on his music career.

With the KSI fight out of the picture, Paul is now all on board to fight Danis.

“I hate to bring his name up because he’s such a lowlife club rat who calls himself a jiu-Jitsu black belt,” Paul said to TMZ. “But, everyone in the jiu-jitsu community hates him, everybody in the fight community hates him. I hate him.”

Paul also claims that his has the help of UFC BMF belt holder Jorge Masvidal, who will be in his corner if the fight is to be booked.

While Paul is famously known in the YouTube world, he a boxing background. In January, Paul earned a first-round TKO win over AnEsonGib to give him a 1-0 professional record. Paul appears to riding high after the win and see’s himself making easy work of Danis.

“Dillon, if you’re watching this, I’m going to kick the s**t out of you … I’d make your life even f**king worse … I’m coming for your head.”

Danis is 2-0 in Bellator. Both wins have come by submission. His last fight came at Bellator 222 in June 2019.
