Jesse “Alpha Male” Stokes ready for Stellar Gold

Jesse Stokes has had an issue with getting opponents to agree to meet him in the cage, hence why his long layoffs between bouts. This shocks the young Stokes as he thinks folks would be lining up for such a record to get the padded win. The heavyweight mixed martial artist will tell you his “record is shit”. However, don’t let the 2-5 record fool you, as it comes with a plethora of experience and grinding battles out until the end, which in-turn, shows how misleading a record can be

In less than a week, Stokes goes to war with a friendly name in Cameron “Dark Shark” Chism. These two have maintained a friendly relationship throughout the years until some recent Facebook jabs that has the fans clambering to see the “Dark Shark” step up a few weight classes to face the “Alpha Male”, Stokes center cage for the Stellar Fights heavyweight amateur championship.

Stokes took time out with a week ahead of fight night to discuss the contest with MyMMANews, own Adam Crist to discuss the weight difference, the recent trash talking and how Stokes feels the bout will end.

The fight goes down this coming weekend, August 25 at the Hockessin PAL Center in Hockessin, Delaware.
