“Officer Rivera will be assigned to a series of Field Training Officers who will instruct him further during his field training period.

“Congratulations and welcome to our blue family Officer Rivera, may your law enforcement career be safe and filled with success.”

Rivera himself then reshared the Police Department’s police and stated:

“This has been a very tough and challenging journey, working 6 days a week teaching, training, and going to the police academy. Sunday, the only day of having family time. But the dust has settled and I am officially a police officer. Someone said you want to make a change, you have to be the change. Can’t wait to get out there and be that change!”

“El Terror” Rivera has one bare knuckle boxing bout to his credit, a bout with Howard Davis that went to a draw in June 24 at BKFC 26.

Rivera, who made his name on the regional scene in New Jersey with bouts for Ring of Combat and Cage Fury Fighting Championships, fought 11 times for the UFC.  His biggest win is arguably a decision victory over Urijah Faber.
