Juan Adams

Juan Adams – The Catch-up

In 2018, the heavyweight division lit up after a fight Juan Adams put on the Dana White Contender Series. The undefeated powerhouse would rain ground and pound until finishing Shawn Teed. Thus his performance earned him a shot in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Following the breakout performance, Adams found a way to continue his success. Specifically, at UFC on FOX 31, Adams put the heavyweight division on notice with a violent knockout of Chris De La Rocha using knees and punches to seal the deal. While setbacks are inevitable, the heavyweight is determined to get back to the main stage.

The Catch-Up with Juan Adams

The heavyweight scrapper is no stranger to the cage. In fact, Adams used his nasty ground and pound to compile a respectable record in the Legacy Fighting Alliance. Not to mention, Adams trains at the prestigious Jackson-Wink MMA camp, home to the great Jon Jones and other legends like Holly Holm. However, now after dropping three losses in the UFC Adams intends to bounce back in a big way. When contacted by MYMMANews.com staff about when he may be fighting next, the heavyweight said,

“I found out my fight on Jan 29 with ARES [Fighting Championship] was canceled a week before Christmas. It’s not ideal but I’ve been training as if I had a fight since about august. Now I’m training with the same frequency just not quite as intensely.”

Although his fight with ARES FC fell out, Adams occupies his time giving back to the community. Despite it being a full-time job, he explained his humanitarian efforts working for a youth home have helped keep his mind sharp. One thing is certain, Adams has not stopped training, and no matter the promotion, the American prospect will not stop until he is on top.
