anti-doping policy, Nate Diaz

Kevin Holland calls for Nate Diaz fight: “I’ll take anyone. He’ll take anyone”

In recent weeks, UFC welterweight star, Nate Diaz, has been pleading to be booked for a fight. With no luck, Diaz has even gone as far as asking for a contract release from the UFC.

Check out some of his public statements:

With no luck getting booked by the UFC, Diaz began teasing fans about a potential boxing bout with Jake Paul. Following up the tease with another demand to be released from the UFC.

Fortunately for Diaz, it looks like there might be a new welterweight contender who has captured the eyes of MMA fans around the world, and he is extremely interested in taking the bout.

That welterweight, is former middleweight contender, Kevin Holland. Following a middleweight run of 8-4-0 with 1 NC, Holland made the move to welterweight where he has gone undefeated in the division having stopped Alex Oliveira and Tim Means.

Yesterday, Holland (23-7-0, 1 NC) made his case for squaring off with Diaz, saying “I’ll take anyone. He’ll take anyone.”

With Diaz (20-13-0) on a two-fight losing skid and Holland on the rise in the welterweight division, this fight simply makes sense. Without a doubt, these two fan favorites would put on a great scrap and Holland is right in saying that the fight “moves the needle.”

I know that I would love to see this matchup but what would you make of Diaz vs. Holland?
