Kultar Gill, MMA fighter and coach, arrested after driving car into police station

Kultar Gill, 44, a professional mixed martial artist and head coach of the Mamba MMA Gym in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, in police custody after an incident on Sunday night.

Gill was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm after allegedly driving a vehicle into a police station while a woman was dragged from the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Reports state that Gill allegedly fled the scene on foot and was later chased down by police.

Court records indicate the man is being held in custody until his bail hearing on Nov. 2.

Paramedics took the woman to hospital for treatment of injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

“There was a lot of damage to her one leg,” a witness named Steve Kaye said. “I expected worse … She was in shock. She was conscious but in a lot of pain.”

A sign on the front door of the Mamba MMA Gym says that classes are cancelled until further notice.

Gill’s pro MMA record is 10-8 but he has not fought in a sanctioned bout since his last win in 2019.
