Lara Fernandez – “Signing with ONE Championship is like reaching the top of the sport”
Spain’s Lara Fernandez has found herself on the big stage as she will be making her ONE Championship debut in a fight against Janet Todd at ONE: 159 in Singapore on July 22.
The ONE Interim Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship is Fernandez’s first with the promotion and she couldn’t be more excited. Not only is gold on the line, but Fernandez has found herself in the co-main event slot, in her first fight with ONE.
“Signing with ONE Championship is like reaching the top of the sport,” Fernandez said about the opportunity. “I am super happy, super excited.
“My biggest dream was to be amongst the top fighters and, now that I am here, it’s a great motivation to keep going and someday beat them all. I work hard every day. I really believe I am at the same level now.”
