A former UFC title challenger, Liz Carmouche’s Bellator debut is just days away.
Carmouche is set to make her promotional debut against “The Ultimate Fighter” season 26 alum DeAnna Bennett at Bellator 246 on Saturday, Sept. 12. Fighting inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT during a national pandemic is not how the 36-year-old originally pictured making her first walk to the Bellator cage.
Carmouche was originally slated to headline Bellator 243 against Mandy Bohm in her home state of California on May 29. The event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
About four months later, Carmouche is content with making her first Bellator appearance. During the Bellator 246 media-day press conference, Carmouche talked about her passion of traveling and Bellator debut.
