Max Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie headlines UFC Singapore card

A highly-intriguing featherweight bout between Max Holloway and The Korean Zombie is set to headline the upcoming UFC Singapore card.

UFC president Dana White himself announced that Holloway and The Korean Zombie will headline the UFC Singapore card set to take place on August 26. It’s a fight that both men have called for in the past, and now they will both get it.

Holloway (24-7) is the former UFC featherweight champion. He is coming from a decision win over Arnold Allen in his last fight, which helped him bounce back following his third loss to the current champion, Alexander Volkanovski. Overall, Holloway has won three of his last four fights, with other recent wins over Yair Rodriguez and Calvin Kattar. He may not be the champ any more, but Holloway is still clearly one of the best featherweight fighters on the planet.

The Korean Zombie (17-7) is one of the most exciting fighters to ever compete at 145lbs, but he has struggled in recent years. In his last fight, he suffered a fourth-round TKO loss to Volkanovski in a fight where he took a ton of damage. He did beat Dan Ige before that, however, which showed he is still a top-10 fighter in the weird class. But the loss to Volkanovski was a brutal TKO defeat, and it’s one of those losses that makes you wonder how much he has left in the tank. Some fans were calling for him to retire after that fight, but instead, he’ll return and take on Holloway instead.

This should be an exciting fight, but Holloway should be a big favorite to get the win here given his youth advantage, plus the fact he still has one of the very best chins we have ever seen in the UFC.

Who do you think wins the main event of UFC Singapore, Max Holloway or The Korean Zombie?
