Mayweather teases comeback against McGregor or Khabib

Floyd Mayweather is a master of making himself relevant and getting his name in the headlines. Last night he did it again.

Following Conor McGregor’s victory over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, the highest paid athlete of the past decade went to Instagram and stirred the pot.

The undefeated boxing sensation posted a photo of a fight poster with him and McGregor and the poster read “Mayweather McGregor 2” in white lettering. Below their names in yellow lettering was the year 2020.

“Money” wasn’t done just there. Minutes later he went after another UFC fighter. The next photo he posted was exactly like his first post, except this one had McGregor’s rival Khabib Nurmagomedov standing next to him on the poster.

All of this came after the 42 year old met up with UFC President Dana White in November during a NBA game. Since then both Mayweather and White have claimed a Mayweather come back in 2020.

The last time Floyd had a professional boxing match came in 2017 when he finished McGregor via TKO. That win boosted his record to a perfect 50-0.
