Strawweight Micol di Segni was supposed to face Luana Pinheiro at Brave 20 but had no trouble having to deal with an opponent change, as she now faces fellow Brave newcomer Maria Ribeiro this Saturday (20), in Hyderabad, India.
In her mind, Micol is focused only on putting on a “fight of the night” in the biggest-ever MMA event held in India and is grateful for the opportunity of fighting abroad again.
“It’s a great opportunity for me, to be a part of this amazing card. So I want to thank Brave for putting me on India’s biggest-ever MMA event and I promise to put on a show for everyone in the arena and watching around the world. I guarantee fireworks and I want to put on a fight of the night for everyone”, says the Italian prospect.
At 30 years of age, but with only seven bouts to her name, Micol has been earmarked as one of the greatest prospects in the Strawweight division. She boasts an impressive record of six wins with only one defeat and is riding a five-fight win streak that she hopes to extend at the expense of Brazil’s Maria Ribeiro.
Brave 20 takes place at the Gachobowli Indoor Stadium, in Hyderabad. It will mark the second-ever Brave Combat Federation event in India, and the eleventh show for the promotion in 2018. Brave Combat Federation will end the year with Brave 21, in Saudi Arabia, having gone to twelve different countries throughout 2018.
