Yes, you’re in 2020. Yes, Mike Tyson is fighting. You did not misread that. The legendary Mike Tyson and the just as legendary Roy Jones Jr. are set to box an 8 round exhibition tonight live on FITE.tv and Triller. The two hall-of-fame boxers return for a charity event in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Mike Tyson’s last professional fight was in 2005. But, after an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Tyson posted a video of him hitting pads with the exclamation, “I’m back!” Fans were bustling with excitement on what it could mean.
Then it was announced that Mike Tyson would take on Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match and fans went insane. Then, My MMA News broke the news that CES Boxing was to promote the card.
News later broke on the full fight card as well. YouTube star Jake Paul was set to box NBA slam dunk contest winner, Nate Robinson.
In addition to that, former World Champion, Badou Jack, returns to the ring once again. There are several other belts on the line on the undercard that’s sure to be a part of a historic night of boxing.
