Miles Johns talks short notice opportunity at UFC Vegas 65

Miles Johns had no idea when his next UFC fight would happen and then one he got a call for a short opportunity at UFC Vegas 65 so he accepted the fight.

Johns has had a lot of changes in his life recently and perhaps the biggest change help lead to him getting his upcoming fight.

Recently, Johns main the decision to change gyms from Fortis MMA in Dallas, Texas and make the move Missouri to train under James Krause at Glory MMA.

When he made the decision to change gyms, he took his family along with him and began working hard hoping the UFC would offer him a fight sometime soon.

His new coach kept him in shape and told his management team that he’ll be ready to fight whenever he’s needed.

Then the news broke that Jose Johnson was out of his fight with Vince Morales and it didn’t take long for Johns to get the call he was waiting for.

While his lay off hasn’t been super long as he fought earlier this year, Johns was hoping to be super active this year. Even though that was the case, he’s happy that he’s getting the opportunity to once again compete in the biggest mixed martial arts promotion in the world.

Prior to his fight, Johns spoke with MyMMANews about his upcoming fight, his move to Glory MMA and his love for his family.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
