Julian Marquez gets Valentine’s Day response from Miley Cyrus
Julian Marquez can a memorial night at UFC 258.
Marquez started the night by making his long awaited return to the octagon by walking out to a Miley Cyrus Cover of the classic Blondie song Heart of Glass.
From there, Marquez picked up an incredible come-from-behind win. He was down two round against Maki Pitolo before landing some heavy shots and securing an anaconda shake to submit Pitolo in the final minute to get the win. The victory marked Marquez’s first win since December 2017 as “The Cuban Missile Crisis” was sidelined with injuries over the past few years.
Following his win, Marquez had a call out in his post-fight interview, but he didn’t call out a fighter. Instead he called Cyrus.
“I’ve been waiting 31 months to get on this damn mic and to call these people out right now,” Marquez said. “This is my time to shine, so Miley Cyrus, will you be my Valentine?”
Cyrus happened to get the message and responded to Marquez on Twitter.

“Shave an MC into your chest and I am yours,” Cyrus wrote. “Happy VDay and congrats my love!”
Now we play the waiting game and see if Marquez will shave her initials into his chest.
