Nasrat Haqparast vs. John Makdessi rescheduled for UFC Paris

UFC’s promotional debut in France now has its first lightweight matchup as Nasrat Haqparast is set to meet John Makdessi at the event.

Born in Afghanistan but fighting out of Germany, Haqparast has collected a professional record of 13-5-0 with nine of those victories coming by way of knockout. With nine UFC bouts under his belt, Haqparast has collected wins over the likes of Marc Diakiese, Alex Munoz, and Rafa Garcia. With his 11-7-0 UFC record, he has shared the octagon with the likes of Donald Cerrone, Yancy Medeiros, and Ross Pearson. Winning four of his last five bouts, we last saw Makdessi in action at UFC on ABC 2, where he defeated Ignacio Bahamondes via split decision.
