ONE: Battleground II Media Day (Folayang, Ngalani, and more)

ONE Championship warriors showcase their skills at ONE: Battleground II. This is a tape-delayed event that went down from the Singapore Indoor Stadium which airs Friday, August 13th. Combatants on this card engaged in Q&A ahead of their respective bouts at the ONE: Battleground II Media Day.

In the ONE: Battleground II main event, former ONE lightweight titleholder Eduard Folayang clashes with Zhang Lipeng.

Folayang talked about what motivates him at this juncture in his fighting tenure. Also, recent lessons learned and his assessment of this upcoming foray into the ONE Circle. Conversely, Zhang addressed stepping in there for his ONE Championship debut here. In addition, he discussed fighting a three-time former lightweight champ and future goals in the division.

In the co-feature, former ONE strawweight champion of the world and the #5-ranked contender Alex Silva faces Miao Li Tao. Silva touched on his recent setbacks and what he has learned from them. Plus, the changes he has made in training towards pursuing that strawweight belt again.

Heavyweight highlight reel Alain Ngalani collides with the hulking Thomas Narmo. Promotional fixture Ngalani clashes with Narmo who steps into the ONE Circle for the first time. Ngalani spoke about being a ONE Championship stalwart and his feelings on this upcoming Thomas Narmo contest.
