PFL 6 line-up released: Kayla Harrison vs. Julia Budd to headline
The Professional Fighters League has released the official lineup for their sixth event of the 2022 season.
Set to headline the PFL 6 event will be undefeated two-time women’s lightweight champion, Kayla Harrison vs. former Bellator featherweight champion, Julia Budd.
Harrison (13-0-0) is not only a two-time world champion in the PFL, but she is the 2010 Judo world champion, holds Olympic gold medals, and is a two-time Pan American gold medalist. Since making the move to MMA in 2018, she has gone undefeated with wins over the likes of Larissa Pacheco, Genah Fabian, and Taylor Guardado.
In the first round of the PFL’s 2022 regular season, Harrison defeated Marina Mokhnatkina via unanimous decision.
Budd (16-4-0) is participating in her first PFL season this year, having signed with the promotion late last year. In her first outing of this season, she suffered a unanimous decision loss to Genah Fabian. Prior to that, however, Budd collected victories over the likes of Arlene Blencowe, Dayana Silva, and Kaitlin Young.
Come July, Budd will look to rebound from her first bout of the season and get back into the championship running.
In the co-main event slot is Rory MacDonald vs. Sadibou Sy. MacDonald (23-8-1) came out victorious in his first 2022 showing as he made quick work of Brett Cooper. Sy (10-6-2, 1 NC) also won his first 2022 season bout via split decision against Nikolay Aleksakhin.

The event will take place at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 1st. It will mark the final event of the regular season before the tournament enters playoffs.
The playoffs will be held throughout August in New York, Wales, and England.
All events will be broadcasted on EPSN+.
