Rami Ibrahim discusses Freedom Fighter Promotions: “My main objective is to give them everything I ever wanted as a fighter!
After an illustrious professional Muay Thai career, achieving the highest of heights, capturing multiple world Thai championships, “The Son of Palestine”, Rami Ibrahim is putting his promoter hat on as he presents Freedom Fighters Promotions inaugural event on October 2nd live and exclusively BXNGTV.com.
“Everything worth it comes with a fight,” Ibrahim expresses. “Everybody in life is a fighter whether they want to admit it or not. They’re fighting in this thing called life,” he emphasizes. “I want to give every single freedom fighter their worth,” Ibrahim insists. “My main objective is to give them everything that I wanted as a fighter. Everything that I never got; I want to give them that. And everything that I had to go through hell and back for, I want to make it easy on them, as long as they deserve it,” Ibrahim empathizes.
In the main event, Andrew Capurro flies in from California, representing Pacific Ring Gym to take on Giovanni Mercado out of Five Points Gym in New York for a professional lightweight bout. “It’s going to be a crazy, crazy fight. East vs. West coast, it doesn’t get any more personal than that,” Ibrahim gushes about the matchup.
Freedom Fighter Promotions will waste no time crowning champions, as they’ve sought out some of the world’s finest Muay Thai athletes to compete for their inaugural show. In a featured championship bout, Syrian refugee and world champion, Ahmad Alatmah takes on Preston Sroeuy of Cambodia who boasts over 100 fights for the Freedom Fighter Jr. World Championship lightweight title. Dillan Joucoo will vie for the Freedom Fighter 140lb. National Championship when he clashes with Jibril Omer. As well as the inaugural 145lb Freedom National Championship will erupt with fireworks as Taj Rueda who represents Sitan N.Y. takes on Octavian Martin.
