Reece Ward: Stellar Fights 42 road to redemption

Reece Ward is as tough of a flyweight fighter that you’ll come across. However, if you look on paper, he sits at 1-7. That may be enough for some fans and potential opponents to dismiss. However, promoters, training partners, and media know the experience, tough opposition Ward has faced and see the potential of Reece Ward. He has all the tools to make a legitimate run at any 125lb title belt. Ward just needs to let his true prowess come out and get a few wins under his belt to swing the momentum in his favor.

June 8th, at the Exhibition Hall in Harrington, Delaware, Ward gets that very opportunity as he faces Antonio Lopez of the tough Bowerhouse MMA camp in what is set to be Lopez’ debut. Although anything can happen on fight night, Ward walks into this contest confident, calm, humble, ready for war…But most importantly, eager to start “giving back” to the people that spent so much time with him.

“Starting Saturday, all these wins I’m about to rack up is for them. Just a thank you to them for giving me this environment,” Ward says about his team and home at 302 BJJ. “Let me give ya’ll my appreciation. Let me go beat some ass.”

Tune in below as Reece Ward and I sit down at 302 BJJ to discuss his bout with Antonio Lopez and hear how Ward anticipates putting his debuting foe away in the very first round!
