Reinier de Ridder meets André Galvão in submission grappling match at ONE X
Reinier de Ridder, a two-division champion in the Singapore based combat sports promotion ONE Championship, will return to the cage for a submission grappling bout against André Galvão at the upcoming ONE X event on March 26. MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin was first to report the upcoming contest which will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
“The Dutch Knight” de Ridder is undefeated at 15-0 in MMA and holds titles at both light heavyweight and middleweight. He is fresh off a third round submission win over Kiamrian Abbasov at ONE: Full Circle on February 25.
Galvão, a 4th degree black belt, is a nine-time medalist for ADCC grappling championships and widely considered one of the best grapplers to ever compete. He signed multi-fight contract with ONE Championship late last year.
