Ring of Combat strikes UFC Fight Pass deal, debuts later this month with ROC 68

One of the Garden State’s most prominent mixed martial arts promotions has struck a deal with UFC Fight Pass. Louis Neglia’s Ring of Combat will begin broadcasting on the UFC’s digital streaming service later this month.

The announcement was made via Facebook earlier today:

“Lou Neglia’s Ring Of Combat is happy to announce that ROC 68 will be LIVE and exclusive on UFC Fight Pass on May 31.

“Every Ring of Combat event features championship fights and Superfights, but the focus always remains on providing a platform for new talent to showcase their skills. ROC is not only the longest running mixed martial arts show in Atlantic City, they have also sent over 130 fighters to the UFC, four of them going on to become UFC Champions (Matt Serra, Chris Weidman, Frankie Edgar, Eddie Alvarez).

“The main event of ROC 68 will feature a 145lb championship fight between Frankie Buenafuente and John de Jesus. They’ll be fighting for the Ring of Combat featherweight title, left vacant when champion Bill Algeo received a call after his last ROC title defense to compete at Dana White’s Contender Series this summer. The co-main event will feature a SuperFight with Dustin Long taking on UFC vet George Sullivan, and the rest of the card is filled with some of the best new talent on the East coast.

“Lou Neglia is proud to partner with UFC Fight Pass to provide his fighters the exposure they deserve, and continue to help build the future stars of MMA.

“Subscribe and tune in on May 31 to watch the Main Card of ROC 68 LIVE at 10pm. The full undercard will be available On-Demand following the show, exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.”

The promotion joins the likes of Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Titan Fighting Championship, Invicta Fighting Championships, Island Fights, Cage Warriors, and others to have their talent showcased on UFC Fight Pass.
