Roman Kryklia and Nong-O Gaiyanghadao retain belts at ONE Collision Course

ONE Collision Course went down at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and was broadcast live on Friday, December 18th. The card featured a series of high-level matchups within mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and Muay Thai.

During the main event, reigning ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion Roman Kryklia dominated Andrei Stoica of Romania through five arduous rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory.

After a brief exchange in the first frame, Kryklia began establishing himself as the ring general. He kept Stoica on the end of blistering combinations on the outside. Stoica tried his best to close distance but he couldn’t encroach to where he needed to be. Kryklia grows even more dominant as the bout goes on and Stoica showcases his durability.

In the end, however, Kryklia battered Stoica to earn a clean sweep on all three judges’ scorecards.

In the co-feature, reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao retained his World Title. He did so by halting ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament Champion Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.

The first two rounds saw the challenger hound Nong-O with powerful boxing combos while the champion largely worked thunderous kicks at a distance. In the third round, Nong-O gatherd enough intel on his adversary and put his lights out with a solid right hand that landed square on the chin to drop Rodlek for the highlight-reel stoppage.

Also of note, Former ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat “Cobra” Gafurov put together a quality performance at lightweight.

He used his veteran savvy to hand his previously unbeaten opponent the first blemish on his record. Gafurov bested the #5-ranked lightweight mixed martial arts contender Lowen Tynanes. Marat Gafurov showcased solid striking skills with Tynanes often looking to initiate the grappling sequences. Gafurov altered his methodology in round three and successfully got Tynanes to the mat with Gafurov emerging with a razor-thin, split decision win.
