Sharon Jacobson joins MyMMANews

Sharon Jacobson (4-1) will return to mixed martial arts next Thursday, nearly two years since her last fight in the sport of MMA. She takes on Kali Robbins (4-0) at Invicta FC 25, Aug. 31, at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California.

The fight can be streamed live via UFC’s digital streaming subscription service, UFC Fight Pass.

Before it does, Jacobson talked with MyMMANews about the contest, her layoff, and winning the U.S. Open Women’s Wrestling title not once, but twice.  Jacobson also touches on her time in the Army, yesterday’s Solar Eclipse, and thoughts about moving to the UFC’s new 125-pound weight class.  Tune in.

Jacobson, 33, also known as the ‘Dream Catcher’ will be competing for the first time since Sep. 12, 2015 unanimous decision win over Jamie Moyle at Invicta FC 14. Her lone loss dates back to January 2014.  Since then she has was won four fights in a row.  The Invicta FC 25 fight will be contested at strawweight (115 pounds).
