Sidney Outlaw discusses Titan FC lightweight title fight opportunity
After garnering quite a bit of popularity in the Mid-Atlantic region by capturing the Ring of Combat lightweight championship, to being invited on to Dana White’s Contender Series, the future looks bright Sidney Outlaw.
Now, with roughly one month’s notice, “Da Gun” steps in to fight Brazil native and Team Nogueira member, Raush Manfio which could prove to be his toughest opponent to date.
Although, Outlaw fancies himself as a grappler, he made it crystal clear that he is going to take “what’s given” during the contest and “focus on me”, as he states about his readiness for the bout.
Not stressing about the broader audience, as the bout is aired exclusively on UFC Fight Pass, Outlaw is winding down his week at ease while praying, resting, and of course playing the new God of War.
The 26-year old fighter headlines Titan Fighting Championship’s historic 50th fight card and brings to the fight a professional mixed martial arts record of 9-3. The champion, Raush Manfio (11-2), won the title at Titan FC 46 where he defeated Chazz Walton. Manfio went on to successfully defend against Lee Henry Lilly in February.
The June 29 fight card will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and be aired exclusively on the UFC’s digital streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.
