Taura MMA 11’s Jesse Arnett looks to make last UFC run with a win Friday

Interview with Jesse Arnett above – Check it out

Jesse Arnett (16-6) discusses his bantamweight fight against Pedro Souza (16-3) at Taura MMA 11 on Friday. Jesse also spoke about signing with MTK Global for representation, how this fight came together, and making what is likely his last run at a UFC contract.

The 36-year-old was offered a short-notice UFC fight back in January 2018 at UFC 220 against Dan Ige, however was unable to get out of his contract with TKO MMA at the time. Arnett had won the TKO bantamweight title in December 2018 and the TKO President refused to release him from his contract. After winning his next fight, Arnett would suffer back-to-back TKO losses to UFC bantamweight Nate Maness and Bellator standout Josh Hill. That’s why Friday’s fight is what Arnett considers his last chance at securing a UFC contract.

“I’m super thankful to be a part of MTK Global. With a win here Friday night, big things for sure. I’m still in this thing and I’m making one last run at the (UFC).”
