Trevor Peek talks upcoming UFC debut at UFC Vegas 70
Trevor Peek is beating treated like a star in his home state of Alabama.
The life of a UFC fighter is officially underway for Peek as whenever goes around town or visits a restaurant, fans gather around to ask for photos and autographs.
While its been an amazing and humbling experience for Peek, he knows this is just the start of it all has he still has business to take of.
On Feb. 25 at UFC Vegas 70, Peek will make his UFC debut after he earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series last year.
Peek has been dreaming about this moment for some time and he’s been handling the experience like a true professional.
In fact, he’s been using his platform to share his story and offer help people struggling with addiction.
At one point in his life, Peek was suffered with a drug and alcohol addiction and ending up in a bad car accident.
Following that moment, he would turn his life around and became a man of faith and he does everything he can to promote his love for God and offer help to struggling addicts.
Its been hard not to get behind Peek and if he is able to defeat Erick Gonzalez in his UFC debut, he’ll be picking up even more fans on his road towards his goal of winning a UFC lightweight title.
Ahead of his debut, Peek spoke with MyMMANews to discuss his matchup with Reyes, his excitement for his debut and the support he’s been getting from his hometown fans.

Please note that interview was recorded prior to Peek’s opponent change. Originally, Peek was scheduled to face Alex Reyes, but after Reyes pulled out of the fight, the UFC booked Peek and Gonzalez to fight one another.
