Trey Ogden vs. Nick Browne top LFA 76
The ‘Wheat State’ will be treated to a Lightweight clash as LFA 76 will be headlined by Trey Ogden against Nick “Nyquil” Browne.
Quote obtained by LFA.com: “I am excited to announce that LFA will be coming to Kansas at LFA 76,” stated Ed Soares LFA CEO. “Trey Ogden has looked amazing inside the LFA Octagon. He returns after a third dominant performance for us in February. He will face Nick Browne, who is a talented BJJ black belt from Pennsylvania. This will be an exciting main event for our first visit to the Wichita area on September 13th.”
Ogden is 3-0 in the LFA having submitted TJ Brown, Travis Perzynski, and coming off a decision win over Anthony Baccam at LFA 60. A protégé of UFC fighter James Krause at Glory MMA & Fitness in Missouri, has all 8 of his finishes by submission. All the submissions have been chokes either the rear naked or the guillotine.
Browne is a Pennsylvania native who will return to action after a 14-month hiatus. Browne holds some impressive wins including a kneebar submission of LFA 75 headliner Troy Lamson. After suffering his first pro loss, a decision to TUF alumni John Gunther, “Nyquil” rebounded by submitting Jerffrey Pelton.
LFA 76 takes place Friday, September 13th at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.
