Tyler Wilson (6-3) discusses his bantamweight title fight against Chad Anheliger (10-5) at Rise FC 6 on March 13. Tyler also talks about his last fight being canceled due to COVID-19, dropping down to bantamweight for the first time since Apr. 2019 and fighting for his first regional title. While a championship always looks good on the resume, Wilson knows even with a win, he still needs to string together more victories for a UFC shot.
“I haven’t won any (titles as a professional) I feel like to get to a bigger promotion right now I’d probably have to put together a couple of wins. Like get a little win streak going. But yeah I just want to get this one win here.”
