Tyson Fury Acknowledges that Deontay Wilder May Be Dangerous in the Third Fight
People who love to bet on boxing fights may love making boxing bets on Tyson Fury. One of the most awaited matches is the one between him and Deontay Wilder. But Fury claims that Wilder may be more dangerous in their third meeting. According to him, Wilder is now fighting to prove his worth.
Fury is currently the WBC heavyweight champion of the world.
Wilder Wants to Share the Ring for the 3rd Time
After Fury was able to claim the WBC heavyweight championship in February, Wilder wants to be in the ring with Fury for the third time. The first match was a draw, and the second one brought the Gypsy King his victory. Now, though, Wilder wants to try his best to win the next time.
According to Fury, Wilder may be more dangerous when they meet the next time, all because he wants to prove his worth. He also retains the “one-punch” threat.
“Heavyweight boxing takes one punch. Dismantle Deontay Wilder?” Fury said. “It only takes one punch off Deontay Wilder.”
In the same interview for Sky Sports, Fury also talks about how dangerous Winder could be next time they meet in a ring.
“Still a very dangerous opponent, still a very hungry man, who is coming in there to prove his worth, to prove he can come back and become a two-time heavyweight champion. More dangerous than the last fight, for sure,” he said. “Do you know what? It’s just a boxing match. It’s a boxing match, I don’t look at it as anything else. You win some, you lose some. You never can tell.”
The Third Match May Take Place Outside the U.S. and the U.K.
Although those who love betting on boxing online cannot wait to see the two heavyweight champions doing their best, the match may be scheduled outside the U.S. or the U.S. It is all because of the coronavirus situation, but even still, the match is likely to take place.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge, whenever that may be,” Fury said. “I’ll get over there, nice and early, eight to 10 weeks beforehand. Put in a good, grueling training camp. Hopefully, I’ll be injury-free, and we’ll go out there and dance beneath the stars, in front of the world after the coronavirus.”
Also, according to him, people who are running the world have a more difficult job than him. “I’d love to get out there and do what I do best, boxing, but it’s out of my hands,” he said. It’s out of everybody’s hands, apart from people who are running the world, and unfortunately, I’m not one of those, and I’m glad I’m not because that job is difficult. Much more difficult than taking punches in the face for money.”
