Ahead of this weekend’s blockbuster UFC 226 fight card, UFC President Dana White will be joined by the two champions in the night’s main event for a special press conference today in Las Vegas.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will meet inside the octagon on Saturday for the heavyweight strap. The two champions coached opposite one another during the Ultimate Fighter Season 27 which will culminate with the Finale tomorrow.
A co-main event that would have seen Max Holloway defend his UFC featherweight title against challenger Brian Ortega was scrapped from the fight card last night after Holloway had experienced concussion like symptoms.
