UFC Minneapolis results – Dos Santos vs. Ngannou
UFC on ESPN 3, also known as UFC Minneapolis, takes place Saturday, June 29 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The card, which was headlined by a pair of hard-hitting heavyweights was live on ESPN.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos entered the octagon on a three-fight win streak as he meets former title challenger Francis Ngannou. It was a short-lived fight as the former champion would be dropped from strikes, causing referee Herb Dean to jump in and call an end to the contest.
Ultimate Fighter veteran Maurice Greene proved to be the larger heavyweight as he dropped Junior Albini in the very first round, followed by strikes, and moves to 3-0 inside the UFC octagon. Greene followed up the fight and said “closed mouths don’t get fed,” and then proceeded to call out former UFC heavyweight champion Andre Arlovski.
