Jon Jones chokes fan

VIDEO: Jon Jones chokes fan unconscious – revives him moments later

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was in Germany for FIBO 2019 over the weekend.  Dr. Beau Hightower, a Naprapathic Physician and Director, Sports Medicine at JacksonWink MMA, was at the fitness expo where he filmed a clip of “Bones” Jones choking out a fan.

The young man did ask for Jones to put him in the rear-naked choke submission hold, but likely did not expect to be put out so quickly.

Once Jones felt the fan go limp, he gently laid him down and quickly moved to help bring him to his senses.  As soon as the man came to, he stood to his feet, laughed and embraced the top 205-pound fighter on the planet.

It is rare to see professional athletes of this caliber participate in these kinds of activities as UFC President Dana White has warned him fighters that these types of situations could result in lawsuits. It appears as if the man did ask to partake in this and aside from being put to sleep for a few seconds, left relatively unharmed.

Jones will defend his light heavyweight title against Thiago Santos at UFC 239 on July 6 in Las Vegas.
