Youssef Zalal Returns to Legacy Fighting Alliance cage, May 4 at LFA 39
At LFA 39 this Friday, May 4, Youssef Zalal will return to the LFA cage for the second time. This difference is, “The Moroccan Devil” will be featured on AXS TV as part of the main card, unlike last time when he was one of the opening fights. Even better, the fight isn’t coming on less than 24 hours’ notice like it did last time at LFA 22. When the fight was almost two weeks away from LFA 39, Zalal’s opponent had pulled out due to an injury but he was told he was guaranteed a spot on the card.

“They told me he got injured I think,” said Zalal. “It’s the fight game, someone always gets hurt.”
“I’m for sure have a fight, LFA will find someone else.”
The fact that he didn’t have an opponent didn’t bother him, The Moroccan Devil just wants to fight.
“I don’t care about an opponent, I don’t care who I fight. That’s my mentality, give me a name and a date and I’ll be there.”
The good news is that LFA came through and Zalal’s new opponent is Daniel Soto. Zalal said via text, he likes the matchup.
“I match up real good with this guy, I have a chance to show my whole MMA game in this fight.”
Not that the opponent has mattered in Zalal’s pro career so far. He has finished all of his pro fights including his last one for Paramount MMA by submission, this time, he is looking to showcase his stand-up game.
“I feel like this time I’ll show some of my striking, I think. I kinda feel it inside, I think I’ll get to show a lot of my fighting skills, where ever the fight goes, I’ll be looking for a finish. You guys watch and be patient, the finish is coming.”
What makes this card even more intriguing is that it’s reported that UFC President Dana White will be in attendance to film his show, Dana White Lookin’ For A fight. Zalal is pumped that White will be in attendance but believes that regardless if he is signed on May 4 or not, the UFC will eventually know who he is.
