“I feel like I’m better in all areas, honestly,” he says. “I feel like my wrestling is better. I feel like my striking is better. And I feel like my Jiu-Jitsu is a lot better, especially being a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Rick and Phil Migliarese,” he convincingly claims. “I’m going to take it wherever it needs to be!”

Discussing his take on fight night, Hafez says, “I’m excited for anywhere the fight goes man! I know it’s gonna be a barn burner! It’s gonna be a scrap. I’m ready to go in there and put it all on the line, man. I want to come home with that belt!” Emphasizing, “my goal is to not go past the first.” Culminating sternly with, I’m gonna try to knock him out. I’m gonna try and submit him.
