Bellator 250 results: Douglas Lima vs. Gegard Mousasi

The middleweight championship is on the line at Bellator 250 tonight, Thursday, Oct. 29.

Current Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima moves up a weight class to take on former middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi for the vacant 185-pound strap. The two are set to headline the 10-fight event inside the Mohegun Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Brandon Girtz makes his featherweight debut in the co-main event against a fellow long-time veteran in Henry Corrales. The card opens with two rising middleweight sin the undefeated Dalton Rosta and Ty Gwerder.

Bellator 250 main event: Douglas Lima vs. Gegard Mousasi

Lima recently won the Bellator strap for the third time by handing Rory MacDonald a unanimous decision loss at Bellator 232 in October 2019. Lima is on a three-fight win streak, including finishes over Michael Page and Andrey Koreshkov.

Mousasi is coming off a split decision victory against former UFC champion Lyoto Machida at Bellator 228 in September 2019. He lost the middleweight title after suffering a majority decision to Rafael Lovato Jr. at Bellator 223 in June 2019.
