Justin Haskell and Bob Meloni

Art of War 7 preview with the ‘Big Homie’ Justin Haskell

Justin Haskell and I have been lucky enough to be paired up since day one as commentators for Mike Bickings Art of War mixed martial arts promotion.  We are not the conventional pair. Justin describes us as two guys having a beer, eating some wings and talking about the fights.  He encourages me to say whatever is on my mind.  He has always kept it real and insists that I do the same. Haskell has been a ton of fun to work with. He’s been in the game for a long time. Although he is not currently fighting, he has spent many hours in “the room” and is an insider of the sport on the regional scene. He’s gotten punched in the face by some of the best fighters in the world. It looks like it may have made some improvements (wink wink).

Please listen to our interview below.  Justin and I give a preview of some of the top prospects scheduled to perform this Friday night, May 18th at AOW 7 from South Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.  We are both psyched to be cage-side for the return of Philly legend and Bellator vet, Sam “Sammy O” Oropeza and the professional debut of Joe ” Bodybagz” Pyfer.  There is no doubt that the 2300 will be jam packed and there will be standing room only. MyMMANews reporter, Adam Christ will be on hand providing up to the minute results and a full recap.

'Beautiful' Bob Meloni
Commentator for Art of War Cagefighting. More than 15 years experience in the PA/NJ regional MMA circuit. Commentator/post fight interviews. Television/media/event production.  USKA Fight Sports media and production. The story of the fighter is what Bob loves about the sport. From the lowest level, to the highest, he only cares about the two warriors who do battle once the cage doors close. Everything else is secondary. Without their blood, sweat, and tears, he would not be here enjoying every minute.
