Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 7 Results

Nothing spells violence like a night of hard hitting combat sports action. Since its inception , Josh Barnett‘s Bloodsport has broken barriers in the pro wrestling industry. The fight campaign continues with Bloodsport 7, airing live on October 22 from The Ukrainian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California.

GCW Bloodsport is a professional wrestling event held by the American promotion Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). This event consists of a unique ruleset compared to a traditional pro wrestling event, in that every match must end in either a knockout or submission. The traditional wrestling ring is replaced by a ring canvas with no ropes or turnbuckles.

Bloodsport VII will stream live on  FITE TV at 11 pm EST/ 10 pm CST/ 8 pm PST. The night’s main event will see Bloodsport season vet Chris “Dirty Daddy” Dickinson take on Japanese Pancrase legend Minoru Suzuki. The co-main features the return of the War Master himself, Josh Barnett as looks to wage war against Tiger Ruas. The Kumite action doesn’t stop there, as the event is loaded with eight must see confrontations that look to showcase the best talents of MMA and professional wrestling.

MYMMANEWS FIGHTER of the Night: (Davey Richard)-Three years away from combat sports action, Davey Richard showed and proved in his Bloodsport debut. The pro wrestling veteran showcased various skills against a gamed opponent in Uemera. Many pro wrestling fans know Richards for his successful run in Impact Wrestling and New Japan. However, what made Richards performance stand out was the unveiling of his stand-up striking and ground Brazilian Jiu-jitsu arsenal, which led him to the submission victory. With his first win under his belt in the Kumite arena, one can only hope to see more of Richards at Bloodsport.

MYMMANEWS FIGHT of the Night:  (Tom Lawlor vs. Alex Coughlin)Both competitors had fantastic chemistry, not to mention matching identical wrestling gear, brining a little bit humor into the match. The standout feature of this confrontation was the seesaw action that left a many pondering, who will emerge victorious. Lawlor unleashed a barrage of submission attacks. Coughlin used pro wrestling body slams to escape each submission attempt that got a roaring ovation from the crowd at the Ukrainian Cultural Center. Each escape provided success for Coughlin. Unfortunately, he would run into some trouble, as Lawlor focused his attention on Coughlin’s legs with a Heel Hook finish forcing Coughlin to tap. Fantastic match by both competitors.
