Khasan Magomedsharipov, Zabit’s brother, signs with Bellator MMA

Khasan Magomedsharipov is Bellator’s latest signee.

The initial report on this came from MMA Junkie via a promotion official. No specifics have been outlined as of yet in regards to date, location, or opponent for this organizational debut.

The younger Magomedsharipov is unbeaten as a pro. He is riding a five-fight win streak and has an eighty percent finishing rate overall.

He has multiple victories by way of submission and has finished things off with strikes too.

Khasan Magomedsharipov made his MMA debut in December 2019. He ran through Amil Nasirov via a first-round choke at GFC 21.

Magomedsharipov has a flashy competitive flare as well with a victory in his fourth professional bout via twister submission. This win was secured over Dibir Amirmagomedov at Kaganat Fighting League 2 in September.

Much like his brother, Magomedsharipov is a featherweight and he too gets in work under the tutelage of Mark Henry.

Khasan Magomedsharipov has plied his trade with promotions like GFC, Fight Nights Global, and KFL in previous bouts.

He is a strong enough looking prospective talent. The cumulative record of his opponents up until this juncture is 12-2.

Magomedsharipov picked up three victories last year and two of those wins both came in the month of September.

Magomedsharipov joins a stacked featherweight field which includes names like champion Patricio Pitbull, title contender Emmanuel Sanchez, grand prix finalist AJ McKee to name a few.

Bellator will resume their schedule this April and will broadcast on Showtime. The featherweight grand prix will continue and move towards a resolution with that return to programming.

Sanchez vs Pitbull goes down on April 2nd. The featherweight title will be on the line in that Bellator 255 main event. That bout will determine who faces AJ McKee in the tournament finals.
