Matt “White Chocolate” Turnbull focused on another win at Art of War 13

Matt Turnbull has a bad taste in his mouth from his most recent fight where he came away on the losing end of a decision to Chris Disonnell at Ring of Combat 67. “White Chocolate” felt like his opponent was a little stronger  and it forced  him make some adjustments.  I asked Turnbull what he has done differently and he tells MyMMANews…

My nutrition was a problem.  My eating was inconsistent and I felt like I binge ate sometimes and other times I starved myself.  I had to get that right so I started working with Chris Wing at Red Line and now I am on a program where I never feel hungry and it has made me feel better than ever before when it comes to camp. I know what to eat and when.

On September 28th in South Philadelphia at Art of War 13, Matt will be entering the cage to try to even up his 1-2 record against Taylor Pierce who is making his professional debut.  Turnbull believes his coaches at Martinez BJJ are the best in the city and feels like he has to go out there to help prove it.  He has 3 teammates on the fight card with him and they all feel like they fight for one another.

Please watch our video interview with Matt Turnbull in the link above.  Matt talks about why he needed to change some things up and gives us a little preview of his match-up with Taylor Pierce.

I will be cage-side handling commentary with the Big Homie Justin Haskell and be bringing MyMMANews live results along with some post fight interviews.  There is no other that covers regional MMA like we do.  Stay right here!
