Results – Live MMA at Penguin City 3

Made Men Promotions returned to Penguin City Brewing Co. in Youngstown, Ohio on Sunday night, as Live MMA at Penguin City 3 featured 14 bouts under the stars with an outdoor event.

After the event, promoter Angelo Magnone commented, “We always love coming home to Youngstown; the fans are passionate about our sport and their favorite fighters. We look forward to coming back in the very near future.”

In the main event, featherweight Clinton Ewing (5-4) snapped a two-fight losing streak to submit Pittsburgh’s Edwin Vera (4-4) with a triangle choke in the second round. Four of Ewing’s five wins have come via submission, and he’s now 4-2 in his last six bouts.

In the co-feature, Sam Chiclowe (1-3) picked up the first victory of her career as she earned a second round TKO victory over Stephanie Alomar Honzu (0-3).

Earlier on in the fight card, former Lake Erie College wrestler Chris Droeg (4-1) earned the third first round stoppage of his career, as he submitted Nas Worthy (2-2) with a rear naked choke midway through the first round.
