Rodtang Jitmuangnon To Rematch Jonathan Haggerty at ONE: A New Tomorrow
Rodtang Jitmuangnon has his next title defense set for ONE: A New Tomorrow. Jitmuangnon will put his Muay Thai belt on the line as he faces Jonathan Haggerty in a rematch. The fight will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on January 10, 2020.
Jitmuangnon defeated Haggerty last August and went on to get a close split decision win over Walter Goncalves in October. Rodtang Jitmuangnon has won all five of his fights with ONE Championship and his last loss was at RISE 125 to Tenshin Nasukawa.
Haggerty hasn’t fought in ONE since his loss to Jitmuangnon. His last win was against Sam-A Giyanghadao who fights this weekend in ONE: Mark of Greatness.
Building ONE: A New Tomorrow
In addition time Jitmuangnon-Haggerty 2, ONE: A New Tomorrow added a list of new fights to the January card.
Most notably, ONE Atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai champion, Stamp Fairtex will take on Puja Tomar as she works to becoming a mixed martial arts champion in the promotion as well.
Since transitioning over to MMA, Fairtex has gone 3-0 and fought twice in 2019. Now facing Tomar, she is taking on an opponent with more experienced to test her.
Maira Mazar makes her ONE Championship debut as she takes on Ayaka Miura of Japan. Mazar brings some knockout power to her division and should put on an electric show for fans in Bangkok.
