Thaiholics Fight Promotions Moves Muay Ying Event To 2023

Thaiholics Fight Promotions was set to return with their Muay Ying event on November 12th. The event was set to be the promotion’s sixth and already had three confirmed bouts.

Earlier this week, a fourth fight was added to the card and would see Michael Bezuidenhout make his first defence of the WMO Super Lightweight Pro-Am South African championship against Denver Isaacs. This brought the event to a total of four fights, with all being championship fights.

Soon after that, the promotion announced that the event would be postponed to next year. The statement released on the promotion’s official social media accounts read:

“It is with huge regret that we announce this terrible news.
Due to fighters withdrawing and no replacements available we feel that we cannot give the fans a good enough fight card. We pride ourselves on fair and even matchups to make for good viewing but in this case there is just no way to make it possible.
We have booked a new date and will be having the same fighters compete as well as many more.
Tickets that have already been purchased will be [transferred] to the new date. Contact us via email if you have any queries.

“We apologise for the inconvenience 🙏🥊”

Although this is a major blow to fight fans who were looking forward to the event, the new date was also immediately confirmed to be February 25th in the new year. With four months to go until the new date, fight fans can expect many more exciting fights to continue being added on to the card.
