The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Mexico City, Mexico over the weekend with UFC on ESPN+ 17. The event which took place at Mexico City Arena was headlined by a featherweight tilt between power-punching knockout artist Jeremy Stephens and Mexico’s own Yair Rodriguez. Unfortunately for the fighters and the fans, the fight did not live up to the expectations as it was cut short due to an accidental eye poke.
