UFC Vet Tim Hague in critical condition from injuries sustained in boxing match
Another sad story involving a UFC veteran today. Tim Hague was competing in a boxing contest against Adam Braidwood last night in Canada when he was knocked out.
Early reports today stated that Hague was declared technically brain dead by doctors and had passed away but according to the fighter’s sister, he is still alive, but in critical condition.
The video above shows the fight and the devastating knockout blow that took place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The 33-year-old Hague was a 10-year MMA veteran prior to trying his hand at boxing. Hague was recently suspended 60-days after being knocked out in April. His suspension ended on June 6.
He held a career MMA record of 21-13, last competing in July 2016 in a losing effort to Michal Andryszak at Absolute Championship Berkut 41.
Thoughts and prayers are with Hague and family and we hope for a speedy and full recovery.
