Danny Maldonado - Triton Fights

Amateur Flyweight Champ Danny Maldonado talks upcoming Triton Fights title bout

During the ‘Bomb Cyclone’ that took place in New York earlier this week, My MMA News reporter Kyle Carroll, went live on Facebook to discuss the recent fight of Danny Maldonado. Maldonado battled Edwin Solis in a flyweight Aggressive Combat Championship amateur title.

Maldonado ended up falling short in a unanimous decision in the ACC 17 title fight. In this interview, Maldonado discussed his reaction to his recent title fight. After feeling like he placed to much pressure on himself in this fight to decided on his future of going pro, Maldonado made the decision of taking one bout at a time moving forward.

He also discussed his upcoming title defense at Triton Fights. Maldonado is currently 3-3 in his young amateur career. While being highly active in the year 2017, Maldonado plans to stay just as busy inside the cage.

The champion amateur flyweight also delivers a unique response as to who inspires him. Click the link below to watch the entire video interview of amateur Flyweight champion, Danny Maldonado.
