Invicta FC 48 winner Kristina Williams relieved after earning first finish since 2018

Interview with Kristina Williams below

Kristina Williams (6-1) recaps her first-round submission victory over Liana Pirosin (8-4) at Invicta FC 48 on July 20. Kristina also spoke about when she’s looking to return, how she’s hoping to follow the path of training partner Emily Ducote to the UFC and why this win was a bit of relief.

“Definitely (a weight off my shoulders) I’ve been trying for so long to get a finish. Especially for it to happen that way with the knockdown and with a choke. It’s good to finally show it in the cage.”
