Jonathan Di Bella captures ISKA belt at Glory 55: New York City

21-year old Jonathan Di Bella came marching into Madison Square Garden all the way from Montreal, Canada with Frank Sinatra in his ear and title intentions on his mind. His opponent would be no easy task, however, as Di Bella was set to face Ahmad Ibrahim, a highly regarded Thai fighter.

The night was for the taking as Di Bella brought the action abruptly and often, flooring Ibrahim several times in the opening stanza. Ibrahim would survive the early onslaught, but Di Bella smelled blood in the water early and didn’t let up an inch. Ultimately, leading to his hand being raised and new hardware wrapped around his waist.

Di Bella was kind enough to take a few moments to discuss the decisive win, capturing a new title and much more with MyMMANews’ own, Adam Crist following the contest. Tune in below!
