Karate Combat Ep 06 “Scrap Punk” Theme Closes Out Halloween Weekend

Karate Combat should be a nice way to close out Halloween weekend given their presentation with costumes included for both Bas Rutten and Josh Palmer. After crowning a new champion in Josh Quayhagen last weekend, this Sunday’s card features two fighters that have lost to the newly crowned champion in the past and could be looking for a rematch. The ‘Scrap Punk” theme concludes with this weekend’s event and as always, MyMMANews has the details on the fights and how to watch.

The main event has two karateka’s that are coming off wins in Shahin “The Lion” Atamov (1-0) of Azerbaijan and Franklin “The Bullet” Mina (1-1) of Ecuador. Karate Combat president, Adam Kovacs said, “Whoever wins this one has the chance to move up the ladder!” but do not be surprised if the men in the co-main event have anything to say about it.

Both Dionicio “El Capitán” Gustavo (2-2) of the Dominican Republic and Reda “The Cobra” Messaoudi (3-1) of Morocco have both faced Quayhagen in the past and lost so whoever wins there might be wanting to call out the new champion.

See Karate Combat’s Episode 6 bout listing below:
